Conservation treatment
- Dryclean with Wishab latex sponge or powder, where required
- Relax item in a damp pack in preparation for repairs and flattening
- repairs with Kozo tissue paper and wheat starch paste: consolidate centre fold and cross folds, part of lower margin and minor tears
- flatten and leave to dry between wool felts under mild pressure
- store in clear Mylar folder
